Yesterday 04/08/2024 my mother who is pretty healthy at 78 years old was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. They said it's 2.2 mm into the dermis. I cannot grasp with this happening and been so sick and trying to be strong for her but I feel like I've been the one diagnosed. We are waiting on insurance approval to send her for surgery and see if it's spread. Thank you for letting me vent as I have been so sick.
