I have stage 4 melanoma which has metastasized. Have dealt with this since 2015 with some years after Keytruda of doing well but Opdualag and melanoma dealing a challenge.
I met with the plastic surgeon that afternoon. Surgery scheduled next week. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and yet I have my doubts and worries.

Yesterday 04/08/2024 my mother who is pretty healthy at 78 years old was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. They said it's 2.2 mm into the dermis. I cannot grasp with this happening and been so sick and trying to be strong for her but I feel like I've been the one diagnosed. We are waiting on insurance approval to send her for surgery and see if it's spread. Thank you for letting me vent as I have been so sick.
