Finished 12 months immunotherapy treatment in July. Taking hydrocortisone as affected adrenal gland. Feeling ok in myself apart from continued tiredness. Is this usual.?Any suggestions to combat this?
I have been on.an infusion of nivolumab /relatlimab for 5 months with few side effects other than lack of energy and a rash that was cleared quickly with Beladerm cream.
On occasion I have had very loose stool which lasts a day, sometimes just one bowel movement and the nodule in my left lung has apparently shrunk as shown on latest PET scan. I feel very fortunate to be having Immunotherapy.
B- 12 injections weekly have helped me. Currently out for a month and I can sure tell the difference!!
Getting nivolumab also I'm so tired it's been 16 months
The immunotherapy messed up my pituitary, adrenal and thyroid glands. Taking 5mg prednisolone daily. I feel your pain, the fatigue I have is really awful, just feel completely drained, still having treatment atm. The big downside gor me is being recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease, guess I got the short straw. Life is just very difficult at present. All I can suggest is to take breaks when you're busy, which is what I have to do. I wish you well.
If you're still tired, you might need a bit more hydrocortisone. I'm four years into this and the 5mg I take in the morning and 2.5mg in the evening are barely enough.
